There are many reasons why I want to learn Japanese. Growing up in Japan's neighbor country, China, I have been exposed to a lot of Japanese culture, such as anime, since I was very young. I have travelled to Japan for around eight times and become fond of Japanese culture. I really enjoy Japanese cuisine, uni-don being my favorite. I also love Japanese architecture for its simplicity and harmony with nature, such as the design of Kengo Kuma. The famous mascot of Kumamoto, Kumamon, is my favorite cartoon character. The historical buildings dispersed over Kyoto, Osaka and other cities with long history are also worth visiting. Japan has preserved a large proportion of the oriental tradition while also being progressive at modernity. All my traveling experiences have been delightful, and I wish to make my future travels even more fulfilling by embarking on learning to speak Japanese.
